I tried to count the gears by myself without taking

F.A.Q.

Q: Which model is it, what year ?

A: Sorry but I lost the sales receipt so I can not answer this question.

I will guess that it was purchased in 1997. There is no model number on this bike; nor can I find a serial number.

It was purchased by me from CYCLESPORT 1 Hawthorne Ave., Park Ridge, N.J. 07656.

Q: How many miles on it?

Q: Any crashes?
A: None.

Q: Size?
A: Size 21" X 19"

Q: Is that a dent on the left chainstay? If so is there a crease in it? Please advise, thanks.
A: There are no dents or scratches, please indicate the image caption so that I can see what you are referring to.

Follow up to the above question...

Q: The first photo (Cannondale RT) shows something about four inches behind the stoker's chainring on the left side.
Maybe its just a glare or the design of the chainstay? I couldn't really tell what it was...good looking bike though.
A: That is where the downtube is meeting the bottom tube, might be a shadow?

Q: I ride a tandem now with a friend. He is 6'tall and I am 5'8" He is the captain and I am the stroker. Will this tandem fit us?
A: I don't know enough about the science of bike fitting other than I was a 5'10" captain, my wife 5'3" and the bike worked for us with the 21" X 19" size which is marked on the frame.

Q: Can you tell me the length of the top tube from the center of the head tube to the center of the seat tube...
A: 21" to captain's seat, captain's seat to stocker's seat 28".

Q: I am still interested. However, I would need to know the standover height. Thanks.
A: OK, where do you want me to measure from? Top of tube to the ground?
If so:
Captain: 32"
Stocker: 29"

Q: Can you tell me the tire size?
A: CONTI TOP TOURING (28 x 1 3/8 x 1 5/8) or visit the manufactures website by clicking here Continental Cycle Tyres UK. Please note that (28 x 1 3/8 x 1 5/8) are no longer listed on the manufactures website.
